SamJoy for short! I’m Samantha Joy Jordan, and welcome to my corner of the internet. I am a first generation Filipina American from the Midwest (Indiana) currently living in the Philippines. I love coffee, fashion, food, and everything beauty — you’ll see a mix of that on here! For those who are curious, I graduated from IUPUI with a degree in Chemistry and minored in Medical Humanities. I left my job in marketing in 2022 for med school!

I am a complete beauty enthusiast and skincare nerd! I have combo-oily and sensitive/reactive skin, so I’m careful with the products I choose. Last I checked, my MAC color was 35N, but it fluctuates.
Foodie
I’m a Yelp Elite (not a mean one), so you know I love checking out new restaurants and, especially, cafés! I’m a certified caffeine fiend and my body might dislike me for it.
Fashion
I’m a plus sized Filipina fashion lover by US standards. I’m 5’4″ (163cm), size 16/18 in jeans (prefer curvy styles), and wear 44C. I love minimal jewelry, white sneaks, and glasses. Yes, glasses.
Hobbies
Eating, drinking coffee, thrifting, getting lost in the city or in a good book, and playing with my dog are a few of my hobbies!

This Is What She Saw is a lifestyle blog that I started a long time ago where I post everything that catches my eye! You’ll also see more personal, in depth posts that I’m not able to post anywhere else due to character restrictions. I’ll be posting about my interests you saw above along with other topics that I am passionate about.
